My step dad's last name was Peroni. This photo was taken outside the Cambridge 1 pizza house in Brookline. Somehow it seems fitting that meeting Shannon, whom you've seen in past photos and who sparked the idea of putting together a documentary on the run, would all start in a place with a touch of family on it's windows.
In the reflection are Michelle, my daughter for those of you just getting started with us, Peter, who designed the web site and myself coming from a race somewhere (I just can't remember which one).
Great friends, great pizza, a couple glasses of Peroni carbs and a new day with a story to share and remember.
Thought I might share a couple photos of me and Michelle around the holidays. The hats are my idea since she showed up with the antler head gear for the Somerville race in December. The 3 shots of our Christmas tree show how photos and the memories that go with them can replace the traditional tree decorations. I found that a years worth of photos and the memories each one carried was a whole lot more meaningful and went along with the spirit of the season. If you've been following these entries you will remember the antlers, metals and some pictures.
